Here for sale is my 1976 mgb roadster. I've owned the car for just over a year, but a change in circumstances forces sale. Its in good condition all round. solid rust free body and chassis. MOT until may next year sailed through this year with 1 advisory for slightly damp rear shocks. in the year I've owned it I've had a recon steering rack put on, the carbs set up properly, electronic ignition installed and a brand new wiring loom installed and dash board re finished. All work carried out by A R Griffiths classic automobiles , making this a very useable classic car. Lots of receipts to prove this and to add to the extensive service history that came with the car. the mileage reading on the car is 53000 and this would appear accurate back to 2001. there seems to be a bit of a discrepancy from 2000 where the mileage reads 10192 to 2001 where it reads 45141. whilst not impossible, 35000 miles in a year on the car seems improbable. And so I can't guarantee the mileage.

The car was originally a rubber bumper car, a previous owner did the chrome conversion to a good standard although a couple of bits need finishing off.
The roof is in average condition. clean and tidy. fits well rear screen is a bit scratched.
The body is in good overall condition, odd car park dent here and there, one bit of bubbling on the scuttle. But for 41 years old its faired very well.
The interior is also in good condition. Seats a good, no rips or tears, padding still ok. carpets are a little thread bare and a couple of interior cover panels in the footwells are missing. The car has inertia reel seat belts. The dash board was removed when the wiring loom was replaced so I had it re finished in the correct crackle finish paint.
Would make a lovely useable classic or an ideal first project. good solid car that just needs bits and bobs to finish it off.
