Immaculate MGB Limited Edition Roadster with just 31, 900 miles from new
Supplied new by Belfast based British Leyland dealer Kelly Bros of Shankill Rd, this wonderful example was registered new on the 1st May 1981. Lots of original literature with the car (brochure, paper clippings from 1981, passport to Service and Handbooks). Two original keys with the car and a third spare key on the bulkhead- never been removed!
This car was previously part of a MG specialist collection for 20 years where it was shown for a period of time in the main MG/ Rover dealer in Northern Ireland (Charles Hurst Belfast) and then sold on to an ex BMC executive. Needless to say, it has not wanted for anything.
Original vinyl folding hood, both half and full tonneau covers all of which are in excellent condition, rubber bumpers and front spoiler, Sony stereo (the original Clarion stereo is also with the car and original clarion speakers never tampered with)
Finished in the metallic Bronze only available for the final 420 Limited Edition Roadsters. This car also has the factory front spoiler. The hood and both tonneau covers are in excellent condition. The car was ‘Ziebarted’ from new.
This car has had a re-trim to leather seat covers (the original orange and brown covers are also here in as new condition). There is high quality black carpeting thought out, with the boot also having the wheel carpet cover and carpeted floor. Original MG rubber mats in excellent condition too.
LE factory option wire wheels are all in good condition with very tiny scuff marks hardly worth mentioning. 5 New tyres 1500 miles ago. Original Michelin MX 165 R/ 14 spare tyre also here too. New unfitted plastic wheel arch liners also included with car. Various other odds and ends with car too.
This car comes with the highly sought after Northern Ireland (UK Government testing agency) MOT’d until 27th June 2018 and nice original NI (Belfast registered) number plate- XOI3456
The car has never been subject to restoration and doesn’t require any work done to the mechanicals or to the bodywork/ paintwork.
