This vehicle has been the subject of a full nut and bolt restoration. Historically correct. No expense was spared, Far too much to list, but major items include;
Galvanized military-spec chassis, fully rebuilt and galvanized bulkhead, rebuilt engine to lead-free spec, Oil cooler, fully rewired with bespoke period wiring harness, new body panels where required, all brightwork re-galvanized, new steering box, twin fuel tanks, shock absorbers, British made springs. military oil cooler.
During the process, the original parts list was used to make sure all original items, no matter how rare, were acquired, and refitted.
The bill for the bodywork and bare metal respray alone was over £8, 000
One of only 10 3/ 4 ton trucks of this spec issued to the army, this one spending most of its service with 22nd SAS Regt.
