1967 Wolseley 18/ 85. This is a sound, original car, it has had 2 owners from new, the first one owning it until 1998, then the second one left it in a dry garage for about 16 years before having it recommissioned and MoT'd a couple of years ago.
It has had new outer sills fitted, which is done neatly, then the lower half painted maroon (we think it was probably all grey before).
The interior is very original, even down to the carpets, it does of course show signs of wear, but it's pretty good, with those lovely comfy leather seats and plenty of room for front and rear occupants.
Unusually for a car of this age, it sports power steering, which makes manoeuvering so much easier.
We have done a fair amount of work on the car in recent weeks, rebuilt the front calipers, new pads, new brake hoses, wheel cylinders, rear shoes, electronic ignition, plugs, oil and filter have been fitted, the car is now mot’ed and on the go, but it will need a few more jobs and playing with to get it spot on, hence the reduced price.
The boot still has its original lining which is in very good order and there is also the original tool kit present.
This is now a very rare opportunity to acquire one of these very comfortable, practical classic family cars.
It is by no means perfect, but solid and original and can be improved if the new owner wishes to.
