1978 FERRARI 308 GT4 – RESTORATION PROJECT
One of only 547 RHD cars produced.

This UK supplied car had been in storage for a few years and the interior was stripped down for a restoration. This never happened, and I managed to purchase the car with the intention of restoring it. I do not have the time or inclination to tackle this challenge as I have too many other, much easier, projects on the go.
This 308 GT4 was manufactured by Ferrari SpA, Maranello Italy, in the month of June 1978, and delivered to the UK importer Maranello Concessionaries Ltd for their Jersey Dealer, Melbourne Garage and their client Mr D. O. V. Ball who took delivery of the car on the 4th July 1978.
Only the interior of the car has been stripped out. The body work is in need of a total restoration.
All parts seem to be there except the front windscreen (£895 for a new one) and aircon radiator.
HPI Clear.
Odometer showing 47000 miles. (no reason to believe that this is not correct)
7 previous owners.
Lots of new panels and metal work will be needed, as there are some serious corrosion issues with the body of this car.
Crema seats, trim, door panels etc are all in good condition and will clean up nicely.
I was told that the car was running when the owner decided to have it restored a few years ago and apparently he started it every few weeks.
