Dick Lovett are delighted to offer this stunning example of a Ferrari 328 GTS. This particular car is presented in Rosso Corsa with a Nero Interior and has covered a very respectable 18, 544 miles.
Ferrari produced 6068 of this model of which only 542 were delivered in UK right hand drive. Essentially, the 328 GTS is a revised model of the 308 GTS with the main aesthetical difference being a re-designed front end, giving the car a slighlty more rounded appearance. The car is powered by a 3. 2 Litre V8 engine which helps push the car to a claimed top speed of 166mph, reaching 60mph in 5. 5 seconds.
These cars were built with modifications to the suspension geometry necessary for the introduction of ABS later in the year, as well as having other changes with black inserts around the exterior door handles, armrest opening door handles and crema/ burgundy interiors. Significantly they did not have ABS fitted, which in itself added a significant amount of weight to the car. The motor trade know these models as an “88 and a half” so although they are quite unique there are enough around for them to be recognised. This particular model is fitted with the more attractive shallower wheels, unlike the later ABS equipped models.
