A beautifully presented Porsche 911 SC Targa Manual, finished in Guards Red solid paint with original two tone Berber beige and brown interior. We have not seen a classic 911 SC in this condition for many years.
Both the exterior and interior are in exceptional condition and all the original refurbished cookie cutter alloys are all perfect. She sits on 4 x Pirelli P6000 Porsche rated N2 tyres, all with around 7mm of tread left.
Driving the car is an absolute joy and the car feels like your driving her back in 1982. The engine pulls like a train and the 915 gearbox is extremely smooth, precise and feels like it has just left the factory. The suspension sits perfectly, with no creaks or rattles and the car feels extremely planted. For a Targa, there is very little wind noise and the Targa roof fits exceptionally well and does not leak.
The cars provenance is exceptional and is a testament to how the car has been meticulously cared for by all of its 6 previous owners. A very large file with all MOTs dating back from 1987 to present day. A mountain of receipts from 1985 to present day and a detailed record of every owner from day one. All the original manuals and service history book are present. The file contains a Certificate of Production from Porsche stating the original engine number and transmission number which both prove that the car has its original matching numbers engine and gearbox.
We have had the pleasure of looking after the car for the last 3 years and in that time, the previous keeper has spent thousands of pounds ensuring that the car has been maintained to the highest standard.
