It is registered in France and changed ownership in October 2020, and comes in Chromgelb (mustard yellow). The paintwork is new and original Volkswagen, very close to the original colour. The bodywork underwent a complete restoration in 2021, including an all-over treatment, at a total cost of more than €25, 000. The interior, in black leatherette, is in very good condition overall, with a refurbished driver's seat, a crack in the dashboard cap and a localized stain on the headliner. Under the bonnet, this 1750 is powered by an in-line 4-cylinder engine fed by twin Weber twin-barrel carburettors, which underwent an engine overhaul in 2007 with reworked cylinder heads and rally-style camshafts. A full service was carried out in 2021, making the car perfectly roadworthy.
