Description
FOR SALE: 1969 MGC roadster. A fast and comfortable version of the MGB with the torquey and powerful 3-litre BMC "C-series" engine (same as the Austin-Healey 3000 that it was to replace in the BMC catalogue). Of the total production of 8999 examples, only 3073 were built as left-hand drive roadsters. This example imported from the USA benefited from a "bare metal" restoration from the body in the early 2000s. At the same time, the car was Europeanised and upgraded with a double oil cooler and a stainless steel exhaust system. Later came the fitting of an electronic ignition. Complete restoration file (photos and invoices). Scrupulously monitored since then by various specialists and fully serviced in the Furkhan Classic Cars workshop. Recent additions include: clutch and overdrive, front brake callipers and rear drum linings, steering rack and rods, seat foam, fitting of sun visors, new rear-view mirror.
