This 1986 518 is especially noteworthy as it features the increasingly rare carburettor engine rather than the more common fuel-injected 518i variant. What makes this example truly special is its remarkable state of preservation, having been sourced from Sicily where the dry climate has helped maintain its condition.

The current owner originally purchased this E28 with the intention of converting it into a classic racing car, but upon seeing its original condition, he couldn't bring himself to modify such a well-preserved example. Now offered to the market in its authentic state, this 518 represents a rare opportunity to acquire an original E28 that truly feels like a time capsule from the 1980s.
