The Appeal
The moment that the 100/6 hit the market, it was clear that Austin were taking a bold step forward into the development of their legendary 'Big Healey'. The installation of BMC's 2.6L C-Series replaced the Austin Atlantic powerplant, the lengthening of the body and the installation of two (rather cramped) rear seats all sealed the BN4 into a class of its own - completed ably with a delightful 'crinkle grille'.
This fabulous example, in full North American market spec, has been in the hands of just one registered keeper since 1957 before being purchased from Mike Abbas Cars in 2016. It has been well maintained and restored, with the engine compartment and front half underside recently stripped back to bare metal and restored.
With plenty of paperwork, and those inimitable good looks, this BN4 is a truly excellent example of a truly iconic car.
