Jaguar XJ6 4. 2 Litre
This is a rare short wheelbase series 2 XJ6, manufactured for a few months before all four door XJ6 models became long wheelbase and is one of very few series 2 cars fitted with the the more powerful series 1 specification engine. (without the exhaust heated air ducting and other modifications which reduce power by 20% from 245bhp to 170bhp). In other respects this car has all the series 2 improvements to heating and ventilation, transmission, brakes, sound reduction etc.
First registered in September 1973 this XJ6 has had one lady owner from 1973 to 2007 in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire. Guaranteed only 35000 miles from new backed up by a full history file including the original bill of sale and owners manual.
Special order colour scheme of Heather with a maroon leather interior. Optional extras include tinted and electric windows and 8 track stereo. Unlike many an XJ6 this car does not overheat in traffic . The car is immaculate in every way and is probably the best XJ6 in the country and I would welcome any inspection.
