Registered just after the end of the war, this very early TC is car number 50 and was in single ownership from the early 60s until purchased by the current owner in 2015.
Subject of a meticulous, comprehensive and documented rebuild the car is now in exceptional condition from the chassis to the paint and correct in every detail. Photos show the quality of work and finish eg inside wheel arches.
Discreet upgrades include a freshly rebuilt engine to fast road spec including XPAG Engineering camshaft and capacity at 1350cc (less than 1, 000 miles and still under guarantee from XPAG Engineering - undisputed authorities in the XPAG engine) . Strengthened half shafts are in place to deal with the additional power along with a taller diff to exploit it for long distance touring.
Not to be confused with the many tired and average cars on offer, this TC presents beautifully and provides a stirring drive.
