Ginetta G4 DARE 1998 RARE CONVERTIBLE
Rare hard AND soft top car.
Owned since 2006 Only 3 previous owners
First registered 12 August 1998, pre sva so no cat
Race type rear body so 205 rear tyres and 185 fronts.
Bodywork good with no crazing or cracks. Minor paint imperfections due to wear and tear. But always immaculately kept garaged and covered etc.
Brand new R888 tyres on painted minilites
Uprated adjustable dampers
I had the chassis and body rebuilt 2010 by cottage classics. Photos to prove. Same time the engine was rebuilt by Dunnell so 2 litre Zetec on throttle bodies. Full build sheet for £7000, producing 225bhp with uprated 5 speed type 9 gearbox with helical class ratios
Oct 2016 new Omex 600 ECU and loom at Northampton motorsport and rolling road session
Rear IRS Sierra lsd with uprated driveshafts
Just serviced with new engine oil, filter and new diff and gearbox oil
Bespoke brembo Dare front 4 pot callipers
Dry sump with catch tank and Titan oil pump kit. Alloy radtec radiator. Brake bias adjuster.
4-1 exhaust into Btb track compliant stainless box
Pre SVA so has period instruments and toggle switches. Alloy and suede wheel. Black and green vinyl upholstery. DARE chrome roll over bars. Supplied with hard top and soft top.
Used as a dry use only road car.
Always serviced annually regardless of mileage.
Had short race season one year with 750mc. No damage. Still has ignition cut out but no extinguisher.
