Genuine low-mileage - 39500 miles, with 17 past MOTs and service record to prove it. Five owners in total, including me. Original service booklet shows very light use and MG dealers service. Then serviced at local garage, the owner of which then bought the car and used it lightly himself. Regularly serviced and cam-bet, head gasket and water pump changed in February 2014, at 27000 miles. I had new upper suspension ball joint, four new Toyo tyres and tracking done and general service within the last year.
There are some marks and scuffs - it is 23 years old - but there is no rust and the paintwork is still glossy. The last MOT tester said it was the best one he had ever seen underneath! It is very clean inside and has a set of MG mats protecting the basic carpet. Driver's seat has a little worn patch on outer part of backrest. Original radio still fitted and working. Boot and under-bonnet both very tidy. The hood is good and the rear zip-out window is clear.
I have the original sales receipt - £17856 -, service booklet, handbook, radio instruction booklet, 17 past MOTs, 15 tax discs and various receipts. The car also has a factory hard-top (black) and a fairly agricultural boot-mounted rack which I will pass on with the car (never used the rack). The car has an MOT to 29th August 2020.
