This SLK has been my personal car for the past few years and only used for days summer days out and kept in my garage when not in use so this car is in immaculate condition inside and out, sure you will not find a nicer one. The is a 2008 German Built car and last of the Analog cars so easy to work on the car has done only around 2k with me, and has been faultless in that time has had new brakes all round inc Brake Discs all Round New Battery, and a C Service anything the car needed it has had and will come with new MOT the car has over 5k in up-grades from standard spec and has the all- important Full Black Leather Sports Seats Heated with Air Scarf Heating and that is a must have on sunny winter days, Dual Climate Control, 7 Speed Auto With Tip-tronic and sports mode, a Great Sounding V6 Engine 240bhp so much nicer than the compressor to drive it has a lovely engine with plenty of low down torque very quick car and sounds amazing and much better value than an Honda S2000 and this is the later car with the up-dated engine so NO "Balance Shaft Problems", another must these SLK’s. *** Just to answer a few Emails I have had concerning Timeing Chain and Balance-Shaft Issues on V6 Engines in R171, SLK280, 300, 350, this only relates to problems with early SLK’s with faulty balance-shafts" This was due too Poor metal hardening of the balance shaft" on V6 272-273 engines 3. 0lt - 3. 5lt affecting model years 2004, 05, 06, 2007 with the engine numbers 2729.. 30 to 46899 any engine numbers after this where revised with different Balance-Shafts by Mercedes-Benz. The engine in this SLK is Engine Number “71220” so has the newer updated engine with the updated Balance-Shaft on later cars and is Not affected by this problem, worth checking cars built between 2004 to 2007 if buying one as this could save you a lot of money around 4k to 5k to sort this problem out as it is an engine out job, hope this helps people and saves me some emails.***
