Description
This is my March 2000 Range Rover P38 Vogue, with the 4. 6 litre Thor engine, auto gearbox, and air suspension.. It has 149k on the clock, and an MoT until October. The bodywork is in Blenheim Silver with Lightstone leather interior, piped in red, with red carpets and factory rubber mats and boot liner.
I have owned it since 2018, but have only covered some 660 miles in that time, and only 360 miles since its last MoT. The brake accumulator, front air suspension bags, steering box, drag link, and handbrake shoes have all been replaced while I’ve owned it, and there are receipts for thousands of pounds spent over its 15 year in the hands of the previous owner, including £2300 for an engine. It’s been carefully treated and always garaged but I’m simply not using it enough to justify keeping it.
It starts well, runs and changes gear smoothly, brakes well, and tows a large trailer effortlessly. High and low ratio engage easily. The air suspension raises and lowers fine. The interior is smart and clean – there’s no sign of dogs or smokers. It comes with its handbook, three keys, and a folder of receipts. I have the V5C in my name.
Faults that I have noticed are: the stereo doesn’t work; the cruise control rubber tube has split; there’s some corrosion along the bottom edge of the tailgate; and some paintwork chipping and fading to the light guards, grille, mirror housings, and rear bumper. The headlining droops in places, particularly the sunroof trim panel (leave it slid back). Occasionally the heating control panel displays a “book” symbol, which goes off when the ignition is turned off then back on.
I am between Derby and Long Eaton, 10 minutes from M1 Junction 25, and it can be viewed more or less any time. Payment only by bank transfer please.
