Due to a bereavement this much loved 1946 MG TC is reluctantly for sale.
First registered 21st August 1946. Original logbook included with some MOT certificates. It has had a Chassis up Rebuild around the early 00’s (photos available) Naturally it has gained a few wear and tear blemishes since.
Due to the owners ill health it has not been driven for a couple of years but starts and runs beautifully. Steering and brakes need slight attention as it pulls slightly to the right upon braking. A few minor paint work blemishes but nothing that detracts from its beauty.
Solid and rust free. It has a half tonneau, side screens and the black vinyl roof is perfect. Seats are in excellent condition.
There are a number of spares too. Most are used or need a refurb but there are 2 new tyres and a set of bearings. Not so new are 4 spoked wheels with tyres, Pistons, full set of leaf springs, running boards, Headlamp casing (not lucas), a rusty engine block and camshaft, clean brake drums and lots of other useful bits and pieces.
Areas of attention should the new owner feel the need. Steering wheel is below average condition. Fuel filler cap does not secure but has a temporary modification. There appears to be a evidence of a leak, believed to be historic, around the fuel sender behind the spare wheel. Both front wings have small paint work cracks and there is a few chips on the bonnet where it hinges.
