For sale, my 1994 XJ40 Gold 3. 2 Majestic Long Wheel Base
The XJ40 they said they never made, until I tracked it down in 2009, mine since then
You will not find another, truly unique, a Unicorn XJ40
Only 267 long wheelbase factory built cars were ever constructed with the help of Project Aerospace in Coventry, only 71 remained in the UK
The most prolific were Daimler Double 6's, Followed by the 4. 0 cars, but a few 3. 2's were built, this is the only Gold, one of the very last 40's to be built and despatched as the Mayoral car for Northampton, registered NH1, now XJI 3777, which stays with the car
The car still retains the demountable Jaguar supplied flag mast holder
Finished in Regency Red with Magnolia trim
MOT'd in April 2022 at 118502 miles, another clean pass, just 24 miles in the last 12 months, this Majestic has wanted for nothing in my ownership
The Majestic will be sold with a new MOT
New and clean MOT pass on April 22nd 2023 at 118528 miles
So just 26 miles... not good enough.. so a new owner is sought to enjoy this car for years to come

Book pack, tool kit, keys remotes, spare wheel, all correct and mint
There are original Majestic brochures, and copies of magazine articles on the car, all included, a Jaguar Heritage certificate is also in the file
New genuine carpets were sourced and fitted some years ago, the front seats re trimmed, the headlining is original and not sagging, highly unusual on Jaguar of this era, rear calipers replaced 2020, also front discs and pads recently along with a new alternator in 2019
All the usual troublesome areas on XJ40, are all good on this car, bulkhead is untouched, unrepaired and as good as new, I had one repair done on an inner wing in 2009 and some paintwork attended to in 2010, I defy anyone to see where
Alloys are like new, tyres are all good
Drives as an XJ40 should, wafts along, well that's all it can do with just a 3. 2 and all the extra weight!!, no knocks, bangs, rattles, shudders, no leaks, nothing... just a lovely lovely old car that will be hard to part with
The new custodian is important to me to , as I hope the car will continue to be pampered , so please NO silly offers, they will just be ignored....
The car is dry stored, covered and located near Berwick upon Tweed, where there is a mainline rail station, I will collect the winner from there if needed

My terms are really easy to understand, 10% deposit within 24 hours, that is the hand shake on the deal, collection balance payment to suit, storage here is not an issue if previously agreed
