I have owned this Jaguar for about 12 years and since it had 40K miles.
It is the 4. 2 V8 engine, and has been converted to run on LPG. The tank is in the spare wheel well, and is an 80 litre tank. This is a very economical car. The lightweight nature of the X350 will already see 30 MPG on petrol, so with LPG at 68p a litre it really is a bargain luxury car to run.
The SE has the upgraded Alpine audio system, with Nav screen etc. Oatmeal interior.
There is no MOT on this car, it ran out in March 2021, it has done about 20 miles since passing a previous MOT in 2020.... when I SORN'd it due to the lockdown and not using it.
Unfortunately, it has just sat on the driveway almost ever since, I have several other cars... this was my long distance cruiser, and it suddenly became redundant.
I was going to re-MOT it, but since recharging the battery etc I have a DSC light on, so obvioulsy won't pass an MOT until this is sorted. I don't have time/ knowledge to investigate... and TBH don't want to spend a fortune taking it to a garage to find out. It could be as simple as replacing the battery (the one on it is 6 years old), or the earth connectors in the front.... or something else entirely.
Bad points are that it is suffering from the usual aluminium blistering in a couple of places, the headlining has just started to come slightly floppy in the rear.... and I'm sure there are other bits to find, sitting doing nothing for a year hasn't done it any favours... and it's knocking on the door of 200K miles.
The good points are that it has a very expensive BRC LPG kit fitted (I have the same engine/ LPG kit fitted in my Landrover too... never had issues with either) Air conditioning is ICE cold !... I have an AC company so recharged it this year.
I have owned this car for years, and in that time it was maintained firstly at Chiltern of Bovingdon, and latterly at EE Services in Milton Keynes. Both well regarded Jaguar independents. Over the years it has had the gearbox flushed, various suspension arms etc etc, basically whatever was required. There is a stack of paperwork with it.
It's currently on a private plate, which I'll be removing so it will be an 03 reg... it is the cheaper rate of tax (£300 ish)
I'm open to offers on this, you can drive it away... if you insure it and book it in for an MOT somewhere.
This definitely sold as seen, requiring further work, so no warranty/ returns etc etc.
Polite and sensible offers considered.
