Beschreibung
This model LR was one sold only to military organisations. It began its service in the Australian Army carrying missiles. Since then it had 2 civilian owners. I am the second, but after having it for 23 years, my enthusiasm has worn off.
There was considerable variation in original options, and also over time, it has had many revisions and additions. I have listed below the significant features. These changes have all been done with minimal structural alterations (just drilling new holes etc.)
This car began as a utilitarian vehicle for multiple use and this feature has been carried into the civilian world with the more recent body options. The rear bodies are interchangeable between wagon with expandable sleeping space, & open drop-side tray, using just a few spanners. All panels are included.
This car is over 40 years old now and has moved a long way on from its standard form, and original specs are often well below current levels. It is best to view these senior citizens as "works in progress" rather than standard daily service vehicles.
