1974 Rover P6 3500S. Lovely old car which was restored in around 2000 b JP Restorations who specialized in Rover P6 models.. Current owner who is an enthusiast has had it since 2018. Prior to that the same owner had it since 1995 to 2018. Everything that was spent has been documented and there is a large folder full of receipts detailing all the work done over the years. We have the current V5 here and keys. The car starts runs and drives very well and is ready to be used. Mileage is currently showing as 104, 000 but on looking at the mot history i think a new speedo was fitted at 140k so more likely to be 144k miles.
Body - The car was restored in the late 90s / early 2000s and all the work done is detailed in the folder. It looks really good underneath and any repairs that have been done have been done to a very high standard as there are no unsightly patches or ugly welds. Structurally the car is still very good and needs nothing doing. Paintwork is still nice and tidy. There are a couple of minor bubbles on the door bottoms but not bad at all. Vinyl roof is good. Panel gaps are good.
Mechanics - The car starts runs and drives very well. There is no smoke or nasty rattles. The gearbox and clutch are good. Brakes work well. The car has been continuously MOTd despite it being exempt and comes with a test until April 23.
Interior - Everything appears to be as it should be for this model. Seats are good , door cards are good, dashtop and headlining are good. Slight bit of discolouration on drivers bolster but not bad at all.
Wheels - Standard Wheels with good tyres.
