Hi here i have for sale this stunning ford sierra rs cosworth full lotus outlaws nut and bolt restoration. To start with this car has all its original documentation from new, including first mot and all other mots until it came off the road in approx 2008. my friend then bought this car and then in approximatley 2016 i acquired it and decided to do a full nut and bolt restoration. Lotus outlaws are known to built some of the best classic ford restorations in the country with lotus cortina's and escorts being bought from all over the world, australia, new zealand, ireland etc. Known for impeccable attention to detail and all cars are built on an open cheque book with no budget, this car being no exception. The car was a nice running car before stripping but there was signs it needed little bits of fabrication work here and there, so the car was stripped to a bare shell, then sent off to the blasters, and work began. Little bits of fabrication work was then amended, the car then had a full bare metal paint job in its original diamond white which to me looks stunning in these models with contrasting black detailing. The underneath was also stone chipped and body coloured. The whole shell was then wax oiled in every hole and crevice which you can see signs of on the pictures underneath, to make sure this car is solid for another 30+ years. Then the car was totally rebuilt using as many brand new parts as possible, suspension bushes, bushes, wheel bearings, petrol tank pump, all fuel lines new, all brake lines and pipes new, new discs, new pads, reconditioned callipers, new alternator, starter motor, brand new exhaust at the cost of nearly £1000, reconditioned drive shafts, reconditioned steering rack, new track control arms, all new wheel bearings, brand new wheel arch liners the list goes on and on.... the engine was rebuilt by jon toovey race engines, turbo was rebuilt by doug sport turbo's, new radiator from rad tech, new clutch, engine bay has been done as near as damn it to original with header tank, air box, new after market turbo heat shield, all built to standard spec. The interior is lovely, seats are unmarked, new roof lining, tiny hair line crack in dash which is barely noticeable, one door panel is slightly marked, apart from that it is lovely. It is sitting on fully refurbished original wheels which look brand new even including the spare, and new tyres. To sum this car up super rare fully restored cosworth which has been built by as good as the best in the game, lotus outlaws, and all their cars tend to get snapped up asap. 0 miles since full restoration, pictures show last few small jobs to complete which are being done as we speak. These cars cost a fortune to restore but are worth a fortune and are still climbing today, to which i would say are the hottest classic up for grabs on the market. They will soon be commanding over 100k. This is a fully restored car not a low mileage barn find that will still need 50k spending on it, it is 0 miles fresh and ready to go, and wants for nothing. How often do you come across one which its original service book, hand books, and launch brochures and very first to very last mot, wow. Got to be one of the best on the market today. When it came off the road in 2008 the last mot shows it just hitting over 100k miles, but after our restoration it is as good as a brand new car. Ultimate classic ford today, sure fire investment. I have a hpi document for the car done in 2005 just before it came off the road showing as clear, will only be giving registration to serious enquirers. This car is priced very very well to sell and you will struggle to buy and restore one for this amount today.
