1964 Ford Falcon Ranch Wagon Deluxe.
Original Rare ‘’F’’ code 260 cubic inch Challenger V8 [4. 3 litre]. with cruise-o-matic.
Southern Californian car that has been well maintained mechanically. Have many receipts for new or rebuilt parts like radiator, generator, exhaust, custom tow bar, brakes, wheels cylinders and much more.
Original 5 lug wheel model. Rebuilt 2-barrel carb.
Fresh tune up with Pertronix electronic ignition, new plugs leads, filters, all oils changed overhauled power steering , new anti roll bar bushes, new rear air shocks is also fitted for towing, rear indicators fitted into old reversing lights, tri bar head lamps fitted new pair of tail light lenses,
4 nearly new white wall tyres fitted. Brake drums turned
New retro sound radio with USB, blue tooth new speakers in dash and front foot wells. All the windows and door mechanisms work well.
The headliner is missing; but a Mexican blanket is in its place however, the important metal headliner bows are all present and in place. The interior light works.
The heater works well (new core fitted) as does the heater fan. Temperature gauge functions well, and speedo reads accurately. Petrol gauge working new sender fitted. Body is well worn but solid overall new floor pans fitted
Underneath - the sills are original and have no rust, the original factory spot welds are still visible and correct [64 is the first year of galvanising of these areas in the Falcon. There is a brand new set of headers, plus a rare 5 bolt bell housing to C4 box . Comes with a few spare bits of trim, parts catalogues, lots of receipts etc.
The next project beckons so have decided to sell.
To sum up a rare and fun V8 wagon, MOT and tax exempt, that is lovely to drive and will benefit from further improvement.
