i wont ramble on to much about this stunning van as i think the pictures (taken today 28/ 04/ 2010) will say a lot more about it than i ever could.
the van drives lovely with no clunks, rattles or whines which is unusual for one of these. mot'd, taxed and ready to go and as i say it goes great. fitted with a twin choke weber/ k&n
the body work is lovely , very straight with no dents, shopping trolley marks etc fitted with towbar which is ideal for towing your oldskool ford around.
the cab is also very nice with unmarked headcloth, uncracked dash lovely sports high backed seats, original working radio cassete. Rs steering wheel.
the loading area is painted satin black with glass topped bulkhead, no dents on inner wheel arches or anywhere else for that matter
rear door is rust free
there is a couple of negative bits
1 / bonnet spring is faulty, currently using a cable tie to keep it in the closed position
2/ need lower part of plastic ign cowling
3 / passenger seat belt anchorage has decided not to accept the belt
4/ underbonnet could do with a lick of paint , but all solid
i think thats about it, not bad for a 27 year old transit
this is a regretfull sale, and i know the next owner will be over the moon with it. You cant take it anywhere without it receiving major attention and people taking pictures in disbelieve of its overall condition.
