Ford Escort Bantam Pickup. This is a genuine ford built pickup which was only available in South Africa. Its RHD with all tax and duty paid and NOVA declaration done. Project vehicle which starts runs and drives. Will need restored as its a bit scruffy. Will also need MOTd then UK registered but we will help the new owner with all the registration paperwork.
Body - Ford built Bantam pickup. Floors in the main are very as is the main chassis. Inner wings are good. Needs repairs in battery tray area, door bottoms, drivers door step. Rear tub is good.. Paintwork is very scruffy as this was a working truck. Minor scuffs, scrapes and dents on most panels. Paintwork will need redone
Mechanics - 1600 CVH engine. Starts runs and drives and engine sounds OK. Electric fuel pump wired up badly and will need all sorting out. Engine, box , clutch and brakes all seem to work. Will obviously need a good checkover / recommission as part of the restoration. Aftermarket ignition switch fitted
Interior - Original but very scruffy. Bench seat needs totally recovered. Door cards are beyond repair. Dashboard has no cracks.
Wheels - Standard steels.
