Vehicle history:
This Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 S Convertible was sold new to the USA in 1947, where the car was last registered to Judy Johnson in Texas. In 2005, the Alfa Romeo was acquired by the current owner as a restoration object via the British dealer Neal Barron. The restoration lasted until the car was registered for road use in Germany in 2018. The very extensive work is well documented. Some improvements were made, such as a modified clutch, a dual-circuit brake system, an improved water pump, etc.
The Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 is powered by a 2. 5 liter inline six-cylinder engine coupled to a 4-speed manual gearbox. The 6C is a "Gran Tourer" in a class of its own. This is therefore a car that you will mainly drive for torque while enjoying the beautiful engine sound and the fantastically smooth engine running. It is a real pleasure to drive this car and cover beautiful distances in peace and comfort. The engine delivers an impressive 90 hp for the time and moves the stately convertible effortlessly up to 160 km/ h.
