1936 Bentley 4 1/ 4 Park Ward Drop head Coupe body number 222. Purchased new in October 1936 by Mr Dudley Harwood (apparently through his company Colony Bay Engineering Co) from the dealer W. Watson & Co under the registration ACA156, his custodianship of chassis B-86-HK lasted 46 years before being acquired by a Mr Andrew Cunningham in 1982.
During the 90's B86HK passed through the hands of Frank Dales prior to being exported to Mr Dean Buchanan in the U. S. A. who owned the Bentley for Circa 11 years. B86HK then made its way to back to Europe, to Snr. Fernandez of Ubeda Spain in 2007.
The last owner acquired B86HK in 2015 and after a quick oil change drove from Spain to his holiday home in Loire France and then back to his house in the U. K. without issues. During his ownership B86HK has enjoyed summers driving through Rural France on the Loire and Dordogne and this all being possible due to his servicing regime which has seen both a mechanical and structural overhaul whilst retaining the Bentleys patina. A very charming Derby Bentley.
