Our Epsom Green Land Rover Series 2a, featuring a brand new bespoke tan canvas soft top and all black wheels, continues its journey as the ultimate ‘go-anywhere’ vehicle. This rugged gem served as a stalwart workhorse for the Ministry of Defence for many years before its transformation.
Now, it has been expertly converted to provide comfortable seating for up to 8 passengers in the rear custom seats, with room for 2 more up front in the cab.
Powered by a robust 2. 25-liter diesel engine, boasting full-time four-wheel drive, and equipped with a high and low ratio 5-speed gearbox, it pulls with confidence even at 56 years young. The Series IIA is revered as one of the hardiest models in the Series lineup and plays a prominent role in the collective imagination of Land Rover enthusiasts.
