For sale: 1964 JAGUAR MK2 3. 8L. VIN #223336.
French origin (not a version imported from the USA), gun metal exterior, burgundy interior, mechanical gearbox with over-drive, wire wheels. Normal registration (SIV) with the possibility of changing to a collector's registration (FFVE certificate already issued). The car was immobilised 15 years ago when it was being restored. More than €12, 000 worth of work and parts were needed to get it back on the road, pass a roadworthiness test and make it more reliable.
The engine starts immediately, doesn't overheat, doesn't consume any oil and doesn't make any abnormal noises. Oil pressure above 25 PSI when hot and idling. Engine compressions are good, between 10 and 11. 5 bars. Minor engine adjustments to be fine-tuned. Has not been driven more than 10 km for a very long time. It would be wiser to start it off on a flatbed ("but that's up to you..."). Full leather upholstery, in good condition. Impeccable headlining. All documents are available (registration document, MOT, FFVE certificate, invoices, etc.). Additional photos on request. Bodywork in good condition but with a few minor defects (paint chips, etc...). No scratches, no dents, no deformation. The doors are correctly aligned.
