We are very pleased to offer a true slice of British Sports car heritage, the ever popular MGB GT. Finished in the very seventies and now very popular Russet Brown with subtle Gold detailing including the very sexy refurbished V8 wheels with Continental tyres and matching Gold badging. It doesnt stop there, this B has a beautiful full cream leather interior and Webasto Sunroof. This matching numbers example is accompanied with a detailed service history file which dates back right to 1981 and has every MOT certificate from 1984. In 2021 it received a full photographic bare metal body refurb totalling nearly £11k, the results are amazing this B is stunning. The MGB is a great Classic Car proposition, parts are plentiful, the club scene is one of the best, they are gorgeous to look at and great fun to drive.
On the road it is a real joy to drive. The 1800cc engine fires instantly and holds strong oil pressure. It benefits from electronic ignition and has also been converted to unleaded. The Overdrive makes cruising a real pleasure and performance is brisk, these cars easily keep up with modern traffic. The gearbox is very positive and the servo brakes very effective. As soon as you start to drive one of these cars the enjoyment starts especially with the roof back on a sunny day, they have a fantastic exhaust rasp and handle very well, this one is especially well set up thanks to Spax adjustable shocks, key features that have given the B GT its perpetual popularity.
The interior is one of the nicest I have seen in any MGB and really is the icing on the cake. No expense has been spared and the results are fantastic. It has been fully retrimmed in Cream leather with matching door cards, carpets and an unmarked roof liner. A three spoke wood rim steering wheel finishes off the look.
We have fully serviced, checked, tuned and driven this GT and its ready to go and be enjoyed. It went straight through an MOT without a single advisory and is also MOT and Tax exempt. As you can see form the pics it is beautifully presented and easily good enough to be displayed, it certainly gets huge amount of interest wherever I have taken it as it just has the right look.
