From now on, you can park it in your garage at home and look forward to numerous upcoming trips. This is the story of the happy first owner, Mr F. M. Hilty from Greenbrae, California. His name still appears on the engraved "Owner's Plate" plaque on the glove compartment and as the first owner's entry in the accompanying service booklet.
Today, 56 years later, you have the opportunity to acquire this special piece of German automotive history. The car has never been advertised online before.

The 911 has now been in one owner for 20 years. This Porsche enthusiast had the car restored for his private collection.
In 2005, the coupe came back to Germany from the Golden State. From 2007 to 2012, the restoration was carried out in outstanding quality with new parts and restored original parts. The result is absolutely clean and remarkably good.
There is photo documentation of the body work (dismantled down to the bodyshell) and the engine overhaul (matching numbers). An enclosed, extensive file folder is full of invoices and documents relating to the history (CV etc.).
Everything has been restored to its original condition. This is exactly what makes this example a special "collector's item". For example, the car stands on the elegant, chrome-plated "perforated disc wheels including wheel covers with coloured emblem". There were no embellishments with Fuchs rims etc. Only the beautiful "BF Torino Italy" sports seats deviate from the original appearance and were fitted as a concession to the better lateral support. The original seats (unrestored) are also present! The engine runs very well and the 911 is a pleasure to drive. It has a 5-speed gearbox.
