File of invoices since 1993 covering restoration and full overhaul:
Mechanical condition:
The mechanics are functioning perfectly.
The extensive invoice history confirms regular servicing.
Compression tests and the road test conducted by our workshop confirm a healthy engine.
The engine starts promptly from cold, and the idle is stable.
Once up to temperature, the engine revs freely.
The gearbox engages all four gears without issue, particularly with regard to the synchros; the clutch grip is good.
As is often the case with classics, engine/ gearbox/ diff seals remain average.
Chassis:
Having it on our ramp confirms a sound shell, with no visible crash damage or corrosion, as the photos show.
Foundations such as floor pans, boot, engine bay, longitudinals, sills, and wheel arches are in good condition.
During our road test we noted nothing abnormal in the Porsche 356’s handling.
Braking is balanced and effective.
Interior:
The cabin has been restored while preserving its original appearance, including upholstery, carpeting, etc.
Bodywork:
Our Porsche 356 Type B Roadster is presented in its Matching Colour "Slate Grey 6001" and is in very good presentation condition. All seals are new and the openings’ alignments are preserved.
