Description
The Triumph TR5, launched in 1967 and produced only until 1968, is today one of the British brand's rarest and most sought-after models. It was the first Triumph to be factory-fitted with mechanical fuel injection (Lucas PI), becoming a true technological benchmark of its time and a milestone in automotive history.
Under the hood is the 2. 5-liter inline six-cylinder engine, capable of delivering 150 hp, impressive figures for the late 1960s and providing an engaging drive, accompanied by the charismatic sound of this classic roadster.
With elegant lines designed by Michelotti, the TR5 stands out for its balance between sportiness and refinement, and is now a highly prized collector's item, particularly given its short production run (only around 2, 947 units manufactured). This model is presented in the sophisticated New White color and currently equipped with the wheels from the next model, the TR6. It also features the original wheels, preserving its authenticity.
This is a 1968 model, domestically produced, equipped with a hardtop and accompanied by a file detailing its entire history, a factor that enhances the car's reliability and exclusivity. A rare opportunity to acquire a British icon that combines historical heritage, authenticity, and pure classic driving pleasure.
