1965 VW Split-screen van with 13 windows
Magnificent 1965 Volkswagen Deluxe 13-window Split van. On 8 January, this T1 van left the Hanover factory in Germany to head to the United States. We imported and sold it in 2010. Now back to Kieft en Klok. The previous owner enjoyed it for 14 years, and it’s now time for a new owner. This deluxe is equipped with German inspection and paperwork; there are also many invoices and the VW certificate. A deluxe is slightly different from the 11-window bus. The T1 Deluxe features extra side glass on the sides, trim strips on the bumpers and the bodywork. There are also more luxurious fittings such as chrome trim around the odometer, a clock in the dashboard, a chrome ashtray, a Wolfsburg logo on the horn button, and even more small details characteristic of the luxury model. This is a version with a passage between the front seats, always handy if you want to convert it into a camper. Technically, this bus is ready to hit the road. A bus in its original, unrestored condition. No corrosion problems! Nothing damaged. Not easy to find a bus like this at the moment.
