Sales information There are sports cars that are fast. There are rally cars that are indestructible. And then there is the Porsche 911 (F-series) — a car that brought both worlds together in a way no one in the 1960s thought possible. When Porsche introduced the first 911, no one immediately saw it as a rally weapon. A compact sports coupé with the engine at the very rear seemed like a strange choice for snowy mountain passes, muddy gravel roads, and endless night drives. But it was precisely there that the legend was born. On snow and ice, the 911 proved to have something special. The weight of the air-cooled boxer engine pressed down precisely on the driven rear wheels, allowing the car to find traction where other cars only produced wheelspin. Drivers discovered that the 911 was not only fast but also incredibly effective under the toughest conditions. That was definitively proven during the Monte-Carlo Rally 1968Under extreme winter conditions, steered Vic elford his 911 to a legendary victory. While competitors struggled with snow, ice, and mechanical problems, the Porsche kept going — fast, reliable, and almost imperturbable. From that moment on, the 911 was no longer just a sports car; it was a serious rally machine. What made the F-series so special was that unique combination of characteristics. Lightweight. Compact. Mechanically pure. No electronic aids, no filters between driver and machine — just balance, precision, and character. A car that challenges its driver, but also rewards. In the years that followed, the 911 appeared wherever rallies were toughest. On the snowy Alpine routes of Monte Carlo, the narrow asphalt roads of the Tour de Corse, and even in the ruthless Safari Rally in Africa. There, the cars were fitted with raised suspension, extra lighting, and reinforced bodywork to survive thousands of kilometers of dust, mud, and heat. It was no longer a showroom Porsche — it was a survival machine. Within that history, the following grew in particular: Porsche 911ST turned into an icon. Wide wheel arches, low weight, an aggressive stance, and a raw driving experience made the ST perhaps the ultimate early rally 911. Not built to be comfortable, but to win. And that is exactly what you still feel today when you see an F-series rally version like the one we are currently offering. Those extra spotlights. The higher ride height. The narrow body with widened fenders. Everything exudes adventure, competition, and mechanical honesty. That is why these cars are so much more than classic Porsches today. They represent an era when rally driving was still about courage, endurance, and pure control. A time when a driver raced through snowstorms in the middle of the night with nothing but talent, maps, and trust in his machine. That is why you don't buy an F-Series Rally 911 solely for performance or value appreciation. You are buying a piece of motorsport history. A car with a story. A machine that earned its reputation not on a dyno, but on ice, gravel, mud, and mountain passes all over the world. The car we are currently offering is the first series 911, the F-series. Built in 1966 and based on the famous 2. 0 engine, this is a sublime rally car. A car ready to withstand the toughest special stages, yet very easy and relaxed to drive, making a fun touring trip on a free weekend certainly one of the many possibilities. This Porsche was built from a bare shell a few years ago. First, the sheet metal was handled by a renowned body shop specializing in Porsches, after which a true rally specialist applied all his skill and experience to create the very best of the best in terms of restoration and preparation. Every detail has been considered, clearly demonstrating the preparer's rally experience. The majority of cars offered are of the "look-alike rally car" level. Nice colors, stickers, and lights—it looks impressive, but ultimately, it amounts to nothing. The layman or beginner often falls for this and only realizes later that they should have prepared better, because now their car turns out not to be what was expected. With our more than 45 years of experience in motorsport, we have seen and experienced everything and only want to offer the best cars. We want nothing to do with the rest, because that always ends in disappointment for everyone. We can only be very happy with this 1966 Porsche 911 2. 0 Short Wheel Base. And so, the owner was happy with it for years as well. The most enjoyable and adventurous rallies were driven successfully and without mishap. That is due to a very large extent to the preparation, of course. That has to be right from the ground up. It is certainly spot on, because the preparer could and was allowed to pull out all the stops to make the car as perfect as possible. Budget played hardly any role; quality played all the more so. As mentioned, that started with beautiful bodywork. Sleek and with perfect panel gaps. The lovely, slightly cream/ white paint gives the car a...
