The DL/ GP was the last of the great Lambretta scooters that rolled off of Innocenti’s production line in Milan and produced from January 1969 until April 1971. This example is a DL/ GP150 chassis with a correct LI Special stamped engine for a GP125. The iconic bodywork followed the trends of the day of the early 1970’s. The Bertone design was more streamlined than its predecessors with a new 22 series lower frame and rectangular headlight.
This example does appear to be in excellent condition and it appears standard all over. Many original parts are present as can be seen on the accompanying photographs. The engine free turns and the ignition key is present with the original numbered ignition switch. Offered for sale at no reserve with a current V5C.
The late Ken Wilson created over many years a small private museum of Lambretta scooters and memorabilia. The scooters having been in a static display with varying periods of inactivity will require some commissioning to a greater or lesser extent before being put on the road.
