1972 Triumph Daytona T100R Twin 500 cc Matching engine and frame numbers , Built December 1971 and dispatched to "Albany Motorcycles" Of Coventry 10th of February 1972 . The current V5C records just three former keepers and the odometer reads 8, 295 miles . MOT certificates go back to 1999 and the mileage recorded was 4, 413 . Today this exceptional Daytona is offered ready to ride having been recently serviced and MOT tested . It starts easily showing no signs of smoking or major oil loss . On the road the 500 cc motor gives ample torque and cruses at 50 mph with ease . The gearbox is firm and positive and the clutch sharp and tight . I have always found the T100s to be easy to ride , not to heavy and quite low . They also handle very well and the improved braking is good from the twin leading shoe front brake .
