Chassis number G40LT001 - this the first ever Ginetta G40R to be built and was the companies PR car at launch during 2010, the G40R was marketed as the car that you drive to the race track, race and then drive home. The history folder shows the car competed once for Ginetta at Cadwell Park during 2011 driven by the Ginetta factory driver Michael Simpson and Formula Ford front runner Ian Parsons where it won with 21 seconds over the second place car. This car also was featured in Piston Heads Magazine. The car was during 2013 the first prize in a competion where the winner was announced at a black tie dinner at the Ginetta headquarters in Leeds, and won by the current lady owner, registered keeper and Ginetta enthusiast who has cherished and maintained "Ginny" ever since. The car has appeared locally at charity events such as Mission Motorsports, Supercar Kidz and various events at our local race track Knockhill to encourage people to become motorsport marshalls. The history folder details the cars interesting story and contains a quantity of maintenance paperwork. "Ginny" is presented with an MOT test certificate until April 2018.
