We are delighted to present here for sale one of the highest specification Series 3 Land Rover's® that we have ever come across. On the outside, the vehicle has a recent canvas, and has a two inch lift over standard. The vehicle sits on 'One-Ton' rims with huge 800 tyres, making it stand tall. Defender-style door mirrors are fitted for better visibility, and a towball and electrics are fitted at the rear along with rear grab handles and mudflaps. The bonnet has a dish to accommodate the spare - however this is too big for the bonnet and is housed in the rear and is of the same size and tread profile as the rest of the tyres.
On the inside, the vehicle has deluxe style seats, which look to be a recent addition, along with deluxe matting as with all our vehicles. The rear is unfitted except for the spare, and a roll-cage is fitted for extra protection with the canvas top.
Out on the road is where the modifications really show - the 200TDI engine starts keenly and with an overdrive and 800 tyres, the vehicle is more than capable of keeping up with modern traffic. The overdrive gives the ability to cruise more comfortably with lower cabin noise. Parabolic Springs give a more supple ride, whilst power steering makes manoeuvring easier - it really is a vehicle that anyone could drive thanks to the light steering. The vehicle has one-ton shackles and pro comp shocks to help this further, and an intercooler is fitted to prevent overheating. The brakes have also received recent attention, with new twin leading front shoes and a defender master cylinder, including all new brake pipes to ensure it stops as well as it goes.
In summary then, if you have always dreamed of a Series Landy but want something more capable in the modern day, then this could be for you. With the power steering and 200TDI, including the parabolic springs, this vehicle drives like no other Series. With a Galvanised Chassis, this really could be a Series that you could use everyday - whilst benefitting from the lower running costs.
