1970 Mercedes 280SE
We have an extremely clean Mercedes Benz 280SE W108 with a straight six cylinder petrol injection 2. 8 Litre M130 engine for sale. We found and imported this car from northern California. The bodywork is extremely clean and we think is the original paint, totally rust free with excellent chrome all around. The interior is finished in blue and again.. is extremely clean and well looked after. The original Becker radio is still fitted. The wooden dashboard & door trims are in great shape other than the strip closest to the front windscreen which could do with repairing. The car starts right up, but we believe the fuel mixture is incorrect as when driving the engine seems to choke-up. The brakes and transmission work correctly along with the electrics. The tinted glass laminate is peeling off in places and the drivers side electric window doesn't go to the very top, but these are easily fixed. Quickly becoming a true classic, this is a beautiful car and a great investment! All Tax duty has been paid and the owner will receive the NOVA certificate to register with the DVLA for a new log book, all you'll need is a V55/ 5.
