Description
A true motorsport icon of the 1960s, the Lotus Elite is a fine demonstration of 'light is right'. It is a perfect example of Lotus expertise, with its light weight combined with sophisticated running gear giving it excellent road holding. Our example is a 1962 Lotus Elite, which has been in the same private collection for 44 years. The bodywork was repainted in the 1980s and has been meticulously maintained ever since.
The engine is in excellent working order, having been fully serviced in 2012 by Auto Spot Techno in Le Mans.
The vehicle is in good working order, although some mechanical work is required to ensure that it runs smoothly and reliably over time. The paintwork and chrome are in very good condition. The wheels have been restored and are in superb condition. The interior of the vehicle is in its original configuration with upholstery in very good condition.
The engine is in perfect working order.
