Magnificent Volkswagen T1 Samba - 'deluxe' edition with a sunroof and 'safari' windows. This bus has been meticulously restored, a restoration carried out to please discerning tastes. The condition of the bus speaks for itself. The bodywork has been fully rust-stripped and restored, receiving this stunning green-and-white colour combination. The interior has undergone the same treatment and has been fully reupholstered in green faux leather with white piping and complemented by a set of grey carpets. There is nothing to fault in the condition of the chassis, bodywork and paint. It is simply magnificent.
The bus’s mechanicals have undergone the same process and have been completely rebuilt and refreshed where needed. They did not spare any expense in the restoration. A brand-new 1600cc engine is in place and provides the power for the four-speed gearbox. To perfect the bus’s appearance, a set of new whitewall tyres has been fitted.
