We have the pleasure to present this superb Jaguar Type E Cabriolet Series 1. 5 from 1968, fitted with the 4. 2-litre engine. A true icon, the transitional model between Series 1 and Series 2, the Series 1. 5 was produced for only one year.
This example was delivered new in the United States in 1968 and was imported into France in 1993. The previous owner bought it in 1999 and carried out a complete restoration of the bodywork, the upholstery and the mechanicals between 2010 and 2014.
Coated in an elegant Opalescent Silver Grey shade paired with a Bordeaux leather interior, the colour combination is superb. Its 4, 235 cc inline six developing 265 bhp is fed by three horizontal SU carburettors and paired with a four-speed manual gearbox.
