Exceptional Porsche 911 S 2. 0 (short-wheelbase - SWB) from May 1968, a pivotal year and the ultimate evolution of the short-wheelbase chassis. Delivered new in France by Sonauto, this model benefits from a Porsche Authenticity Certificate and comes after a total “Bolt & Nut” restoration (2023-2025) of a high level of meticulousness.
Bodywork & Aesthetics Restoration
Chassis: fully stripped, anti-corrosion treatment, sandblasting and micro-blasting.
Paint: Sublime Bahamas Yellow finish (code 6805).
Finishes: All chrome has been redone (trim surrounds, bumper blocks, rims). New mouldings and seals (original Porsche).
Lighting: Equipped with its standard iodine headlights (specific to S models).
Mechanical & Engine (rebuilt)
Engine: Aluminium block type 901/ 02 (160 bhp) fully rebuilt by a professional (metrology, bearings, piston rings, valves, timing gear new).
Fuel/ Intake: Original Weber 40 IDS carburettors restored (bichromating, shafts and seals new).
Details: Magnesium turbine treated by etching, gold-chromated fasteners, new wiring loom.
Transmission: Gearbox refurbished, new clutch.
Contact with the road: Anodised Fuchs 5. 5x15 wheels, new Dunlop Sport Classic tyres, ventilated disc brakes (original aluminium calipers) and new bearings.
Interior & Equipment
Upholstery: Made with respect to original specifications by a traditional trimmer.
Cockpit: 42cm bakelite steering wheel with leather wrap and the rare butterfly horn. Gauges refurbished.
Audio: Period Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio, serviced with discreet Bluetooth integration.
