I'm parting with my standard 1200 Beetle from 22/ 07/ 1976 purchased on 23/ 04/ 2019 from Retro Car Spirit (Dunkerque)
Maintained by a specialist in Marseille (Un amour de coccinelle), the clutch was replaced recently
the heater boxes as well, the entire braking system (hoses, backplates, dampers...)
a convertible kit from Brazil was imported and fitted by the garage. She fires up instantly and runs regularly without any issues.
Engine and gearbox oil change was done in July. No issues with the chassis.
She's not concours condition but presents well (a few blisters around the rear gutters (see photos)
there are still a few jobs to do to make her even prettier but nothing essential.
The MOT will be renewed but the last one two years ago only had one note about a spot of rust on the rear damper
