Selling Lancia Kappa coupé, January 2000, with the 2. 0 20v turbo producing 220 bhp. 135, 000 km.
The last coupé from the marque, essentially a cross between the Alfa 166 platform and the engine that powers the Fiat Coupé, the whole thing wrapped in a rather distinctive 3-door body, finished in the stunning "Black Storm" shade. Originality guaranteed. Thrills too, given the five-cylinder turbo's grunt. All wrapped in the comfort of cream Poltrona Frau leather.
Regarding options, it's equipped with a 6-CD changer, GPS, leather, electric/ heated seats and xenon headlights. No sunroof, cruise control, or adaptive suspension.
As for maintenance, it's all up to date. Timing belt, water pump, auxiliary belt kit done in May 2026 at 130, 000 km. Plus complete brake overhaul, four Continental tyres and full wheel alignment. Oil change, filters, spark plugs. Complete exhaust system.
The car had its engine replaced during its life, following an oil oversight by the previous owner in 2006. Engine, turbo and clutch replaced at 81, 000 km. So to summarise: the chassis has 135, 000 km, the engine, turbo and clutch have 54, 000 km. I have the invoice from the work, carried out at a Lancia dealer.
MOT in July with no issues, except for slightly misaligned fog lights.
Everything works, everything functions, no warning lights, ice-cold air conditioning. Exterior aesthetics really very clean, it's just come back from the bodyshop for respraying the mirrors plus a few minor corrections.
However beautiful and well-maintained it may be, it remains a second-hand car over 25 years old with 135, 000 km on the clock, particularly an Italian one. Beyond the fact that, being a private seller, I provide absolutely no warranty, this car is therefore not new and has its flaws. Mainly cosmetic: the fabric on the windscreen pillars is slightly slack, as is the headlining, only under the sun visors. Invisible when folded away. Interior leather really very clean, no holes or tears, but the driver's seat is peeling slightly on one edge and could use a touch-up given the overall condition. Gear lever nothing special, cracked and losing bits. A few scratches on the plastic trim, and the fake wood inserts on the doors squeak. Cylinder head cover paint blistering in places. Fuel gauge temperamental, works fine on the first quarter, then behaves oddly.
The price is therefore open to discussion between willing parties, once you've been able to see for yourself its qualities and, above all, its shortcomings. Nevertheless, those who arrive offering 50% of the asking price straight away, you might be waiting a long time for my response.
Registration document in order, in my name. 2 keys plus master key, service documents, tool kit.
Exchange possible for the same model but as an estate, well-optioned, with the same engine or the 2. 4 naturally aspirated. No diesel, no V6. Financial terms to be discussed then, depending on condition.
Or exchange for a nice car (so Italian perhaps?).
