The Appeal

The Bimota YB7 is one of the Italian marque's most sought-after small-capacity sportbikes, pairing a Yamaha FZR400 inline-four with Bimota's signature hand-built chassis and distinctive bodywork. With only 321 examples produced, it remains a rare machine, and certainly a characterful one. Exotica like this doesn't come to the market, and this one is lucky enough to be imported from Japan, where road conditions are much more affable than our own.

The seller purchased this example in January 2024 and reports that it is in good condition with honest patina. For collectors of exotic Italian motorcycles or enthusiasts of the golden era of small-bore sportbikes, this YB7 is a tantalising prospect.
