• In its current ownership for the last 13 years, this FIA Appendix K Mustang has been a regular feature on race tracks around Europe. The current owner has competed in the FIA European Championship for Historic Touring Cars from 2005-2007, also more recently in the Masters endurance Racing in Magny Cours, DIJON Grand Prix de l’Age d’OR, and Dix Mille Tours du CASTELLET, with many podiums and victories.
• Fully restored and maintained with no expense spared by Italian historic racing specialists, RS Historics, featuring an FIA compliant 289ci engine built by Cobra Automotive Inc. USA at the end of 2012, with a forecast life of 50 race hours. The Mustang is accompanied by new style FIA HTPs issued in 2015, new 2016 seat and seat belts, 2016 serviced fire extinguisher, along with a selection of spares.
The engine is 289ci in size and features the correct crank, rods, points, Holley 4 barrel carburettor and steel radiator giving 351hp at 6200 rpm.
With it’s large 120 litre fueltank, endurance epics such as the Spa 6 Hours would be well within the Mustangs capabilities and a joy to do in thiscar. It is accompanied by a healthy spares package and new style FIA HTPs which were issued in 2015, and offers agreat opportunity to get onto the grid in style during 2019.
