Here for sale we are delighted to present this Series 2a, in popular Deep Bronze Green with Khaki Canvas. Externally, there are lots of nice period features, such as the vintage numberplates, wing mounted mirrors, bonnet mounted spare, twin wiper and rear mudflaps with rear grabhandles. A recent canvas is fitted, along with a towball and electrics - a handy addition to allow towing. The vehicle sits on a smart set of 750 modular style wheels, which aid gearing and give a more relaxed cruise, whilst also giving the vehicle a pleasing stance and slightly higher ground clearance.
The interior houses three standard seats, with deluxe matting to the footwells. The interior is largely standard, with the exception of a hidden immobiliser underneath the centre dials for security. A heater is fitted and is working, which was an expensive option on the 2a, and so this is nice to have for the upcoming colder weather. The rear of the vehicle, although unfitted with the exception of a load mat, could house bench seats to allow for seven occupants including the driver for just £295.
Out on the road, this vehicle gives a pleasing period driving experience, and stops and goes just as it should. The larger tyres give a more relaxed cruise over standard, which makes for more relaxing higher speed running.
